Hunting in Eastern Zululand:
Nestled within the Northern Drakensberg Mountains of KwaZulu-Natal, the 15,000-acre Eastern Zululand Concession offers an unparalleled African wildlife hunting experience. Positioned midway between Johannesburg and Durban in a malaria-free region, this privately owned family reserve captivates visitors with its expansive mountains, acacia trees, dry river beds, and sprawling plains. With a diverse population of over 2,500 African game species, this area is renowned as one of South Africa’s foremost conservation havens.

Hunting Season & Safari Duration:
With its year-round sunshine and favourable climate, Kwa-Zulu Natal offers excellent hunting conditions at any time of the year. Hunting safaris are available from March to October. We recommend a safari duration of 7-10 days for exploring one area (province) or a minimum of 10-14 days for two areas (provinces), allowing for optimal selection of trophy-quality animals. The duration of your safari can also be tailored based on the species you wish to hunt.

Accommodation:
Your lodging will be provided in a luxurious 5-star game lodge nestled within the hunting area. The guest rooms feature en-suite bathrooms and double beds, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout your stay. The lodge offers Wi-Fi and cell phone service for connectivity, while daily housekeeping services and laundry ensure a seamless experience. Our commitment is to provide top-tier hospitality, from delectable cuisine accompanied by the finest South African wines to convivial campfire conversations complemented by traditional home-cooked meals and local brews.

Embark on your hunting adventure with a diverse array of species available on quota, including Baboon, Blesbuck (Common & White), Buffalo, Bushbuck Cape, Bushpig, Caracal, Duiker Grey, Eland Livingstone, Gemsbuck, Genet, Giraffe, Hartebeest Red, Hippo, Honey Badger, Impala (Southern & Black), Jackal, Southern Greater Kudu, Nyala, Ostrich, Porcupine, Reedbuck (Common, Mountain & Vaal/Grey), Sable, Serval, Springbuck Common, Steenbuck, Vervet Monkey, Waterbuck, Warthog, Wildebeest (Blue, Black & Golden),  and Zebra among others, ensuring a comprehensive hunting experience tailored to your preferences.

Travel Details & Location:
Traveling to South Africa is convenient, with most hunters arriving at OR Tambo International Airport and proceeding to King Shaka International Airport via a domestic commercial flight, which is closest to the hunting location, followed by a 3-hour drive to the lodge. Alternatively, a short charter flight directly from Lanseria Airport to a Private Airstrip in the Harrismith area is recommended for added convenience. Upon arrival at the airport or airstrip, you will be warmly greeted by myself, a ZGTS representative, or your Professional Hunter, who will assist you with your rifles and luggage before escorting you to camp.

The lodge is situated in the KwaZulu-Natal Province approximately 275 km northeast of OR Tambo International Airport and 200 km southeast of King Shaka Airport, where you will be accommodated for the duration of your safari.

Hunting in Northern Zululand:
Northern Zululand is a paradise for trophy collectors, boasting a rich population of Nyala, Common Reedbuck, Bushbuck, and Red Duiker. Its East Coast location within the Northern KwaZulu Natal Province attracts hunters from around the globe. The region’s diverse habitat, ranging from dense thorn bushes to open savannah plains adorned with vast Fever Trees, provides a unique setting for hunting. Here, hunters can encounter a variety of species, from the native Nyala, Bushbuck, and Common Reedbuck to elusive wildlife like Buffalo, Hippo, and Crocodile. These low-risk malaria areas offer intriguing and challenging hunting opportunities.

Travelling to South Africa is seamless, with most hunters arriving at OR Tambo International Airport. From there, convenient domestic flights to either Richardsbay Airport or King Shaka International Airport are available, both situated closest to our hunting locations.
For added convenience, a short charter flight directly from Lanseria Airport to a Private Airstrip in Hluhluwe is recommended. Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome from one of our
professional ZGTS representative, who will assist you with your rifles and luggage before escorting you to camp.
Our lodge is nestled in the KwaZulu-Natal Province, approximately 350 km south of OR Tambo International Airport and 200 km north of Richardsbay Airport.
